As for me, i...Congratulations!!! Praying for you!!

As for me, it's still a little bit on the early side and I may be jumping the gun, but from past experience, it looks as though this 2nd IVF cycle failed and once again my body attacked all of them.

1st IVF cycle 08/09 - 3 implanted
2nd IVF cycle- 11/09 - 4 implanted

I have an appointment Dec 11th in Chicago with a specialist who deals with auto immune/reproductive issues. I have two more free paying cycles with Cigna before April 1st, 2010. This is all covered 100%. I have to admit, my first impulse was to put this behind me and walk away. We are both tired. I am tired of being poked, the drives, being put under anesthesia and all that goes along with a stressful IVF cycle only to get bad news in the end. By this time, it no longer about the fact that the cycles are free. I find myself looking in the mirror and it's all about the "me, myself and I'. But as long as God provides an open door, I must be willing to walk through it.

As Rick Warren writes in the "Purpose Driven Life" he says all of life is a test. Character is both developed and revealed by tests. We are always being tested. God constantly watches our responses to people, problems, success, conflicts and disappointments. Every day is an important day, and every second is a growth opportunity to deepen our character, to demonstrate love, or to depend on God. Some tests seem overwhelming, while others we don't even notice. But all of them have eternal implications."

"Blessed are those who endure when they are tested" (James 1:12)

In Christ,
SusanTrek1954https://www.blogger.com/profile/10907896597091284257noreply@blogger.com
